Marine Descombes does not play small. Raised in Beaujolais’ Brouilly Cru, she took the reins of her family’s winery early, landed a coveted seat on the Compagnons du Beaujolais Grand Council, and then promptly blew past expectations, incorporating regenerative farming and purchasing and reviving a château where she ferments and ages several cru village wines of Beaujolais in clay tank.  Add a bold move into Chablis, and you’ve got a winemaker who refuses limits. Marine will be here with Mary Taylor Wine and the Springboard team, pouring her inspired creations. Come on down and show Marine how we embrace our wine community!

We’re throwing it back to the steep slopes, old vines, and zero-nonsense wines of Germany and Austria with Vom Boden at Cadet. There isn’t an import book with a larger number of smaller estates. These are the folks importing wines for people who care a lot about place, farming, and wines that slap without shouting. The Grand Cru Selections team will be pouring, preaching, and generally making a strong case for why these bottles rule. You don’t want to miss this high-acid adventure!
